CRC Roofing Shingles

I was wondering if anyone has used or had any experience with CRC roofing shingles? There are a huge range of manufacturers to choose from and one of the things this site would like to do is to build up some reviews of different shingle products. It would be great if readers could leave some comments describing there own experiences and how they got on with them. But, for now this post will focus on CRC roofing shingles.

Having not come across them myself I decided to do a little digging on the internet to try and see if I could find any customer feedback. As you’re probably aware even the most obscure of products or services usually have at least some positive or negative feedback of some kind. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any whatsoever. With this being the case I proceeded to visit the Canroof Corporation website to find out a little more about what they have to offer.

The Canroof Corporation is based in Toronto, Canada and claims to be Canada’s youngest roofing shingles manufacturer. They have plants in other parts of Canada and also in the United States which they are affiliated to. These manufacturing plants are located in Brampton, Hawkesbury, Calgary, Winnipeg, Sumas, Franklin, Wilmington and Chicago.

The company offers its customers with a wide range of roofing products to choose from such as laminated, designer and the more traditional styles also seem to be well catered for. These are offered with a good range of colours and types so the chances are that you should be able to find what you are looking for. Each of the products comes with its own warranty which lasts from 20 to 50 years.

I liked the look of there premium products. You are able to select from Crowne Slate, Biltmore LT & 30, Biltmore 40 East, Renaissance GXL 30, Skyline 25 GL and Traditional and each of them looks very appealing, especially the Crowne Slate. They all come pre-packaged in IKO wrappers. The products look good but what impressed me most was the fact that they actually manufacture the majority of the materials which are used in the products themselves.

There is the added benefit to customers because we can generally rely more on the company to produce quality consistently because they have full control of the raw materials used in manufacturing as well as the quality control aspects. It would be great to here any of the experiences that you may have had when using CRC roofing shingles.
