Rate Roofing Shingles
I have been thinking recently what factors determine top rate roofing shingles and whether or not it would be worth my time investigating this more vigorously with the aim of recording my findings on this site. It is still early days with regards to this site as I write this and I’m still trying to decide in what direction I wish to take when writing content for you, the reader.
I think it would be important to gather as much information on this site including reviews and tutorials but I’m undecided and still a little unsure how exactly I will go about building a structure to rate roofing shingles. It is probably not going to be feasible for me to try every type of shingle that I come across so gathering reader feedback will more than likely be of the most importance if I pursue this in the future.
Yes I know, this is a little bit off topic but as well as publishing detailed how to guides and product reviews I will often use this site as a think box from time to time. It is always helpful to gain the opinion of others, especially when you’re running a website. As boring as this subject may seem, roofing does hold a lot of interest to me. I’ve been in the building trade for many years so talking and writing about these types of subjects does tend to hold my interest.
Anyway, enough about me already. Lets get back to business. When we decide to shingle or re-shingle our roof one decision that we need to make is of course what type of roofing shingles are we going to be laying on our roof. Of course many factors will come into this decision and we will definitely explore these in much more detail later down the line.
For those of us that have little or no experience it would be nice to have not just general reviews and product descriptions but maybe some form of rating system to help distinguish the good from the bad. If you are getting a professional roofer to do the job for you then it is always a good idea to get his advice on the matter before making a decision.
But, for those of you who are brave enough to try applying the shingles yourselves then getting all the information that you might need is of much more importance. You will want to be using the best product possible for the job in most cases or the best you can afford.
When I write some reviews on some of the top rate roofing shingles available on the market it would be brilliant if those of you who have had experience with them could leave some of your own feedback on the quality of the products and your experiences with them.
